It's a hard question.
If they didn't know for real, I will try to be understanding and not panic.
If he knew before, I'll get mad and I don't know what I would do.

While I wouldn't be intimate with them ,it definitely would not change how I felt about them as a person. I would continue to love that person. A disease would not change that. Just because someone has AIDS/HIV does not make them a horrible person. They are still the same that they always were. If it were you, wouldn't you want those closest to you to stick by you and be there when you needed them??

If I truly loved or liked this person It would not chance my opinion of them. They are the same person that they were before and would be the same person after. I would give them my full support in their time of need.
They need more than just medical support. Support from a friend or lover is also needed. Think about it would you want to be "turned against" in the same situation?

husband or boyfriend, makes you wonder what they are doing with someone else that they should have only been doing with you. but i dont think you know if it changes your feelings until it happens, you can say no, easily enough when it hasnt happened. when it has, you might really feel like you were cheated on and then exposed to a terrible disease.

No, not about them. I would just try and be more careful around them. I wouldn't have unprotected sex with the bf/hubby. I wouldn't use the same razors as best friend. I would watch when they bleed and so on but it wouldn't change how much I cared about them.

Not at all, I didn't fall in love with someone's health, I fell in love with them as a person. So they made a mistake, and had unprotected sex, it happens, all the time...it doesn't make them less of a person for having that happen.

It all depends on if he had gotten it while you were together for a long time. I would say that he got it from someone else and he cheated on you. You need to step back and take a hard look at your relationship.
