Previous I have had Santa come, but the kids are bigger. I am in Central Florida and am looking for an idea. I am hoping for someone/something to bring in. Kids are ages 4 - 12 (lots of them!) Thanks!

I remember those days when Santa would come. So much fun. These days since there only a few little ones.....we just have a big gift exchange. The adults bring a 10 dollar gift, and then we put them out in the middle of the floor, everyone draws numbers, and you go one thru however many. Whoever gets 1 goes first, number 2 can get a different present and unwrap it or take number 1, number 3 gets a gift or takes one from someone else, but, if someone takes a gift from someone that person has to have another present, and you can only have the same gift 2 times. This always brings a log of laughs and some fun arguements. The parents just bring a little gift for the kids so they have something to open too.

Our family does tons of games when we all get together on Christmas Eve. Here's some of the ones we've done in the past. First game of the night: ahead of time make up index cards with a Christmas Sticker on them (all the same sticker except for one). Stick them in little envelopes and place them in a box or basket or something. As they arrive give each person one. The person with the different sticker gets a little door prize. Other games: A Christmas Themed Memory Game- we did this one and I swear to you the adults were more into it than the kids. Works for any age. A Christmas Themed 20 questions game Guess the Christmas song Guess the Gift- Get a few gifts that can be for guy or girl. Wrap them up and put aside. Make sheets containing clues for gifts. Example: a travel cup. Clues might be: loves to be held, goes with you everywhere, gets kissed a lot...anything random or funny. First person to get it right gets the gift. Do a few of them. The clothes pin game. Pick a word that deals with Christmas that is bound to come up at a Christmas party to be off limits. Example: tree. If you hear someone say tree you get to take their clothespin. Whoever collects the most at the end of the night gets a gift. Guess the Christmas movie Get a Christmas pinata and fill with Christmas candy A Christmas Themed Scavenger Hunt Have some coloring books/activity books and crayons for the young children. For the gift exchange you could try the White Elephant Exchange. It's pretty fun. Some gifts you guys could consider doing is a gift that the each "family"(mom, dad, the kids) could use. Examples: gift basket with all the makings in it for smores: marshmallows, graham crackers, hershey bars, and add some candy canes for a festive look, gift basket with the makings for a movie night: voucher for one free rental, couple packs of popcorn, box or two of candies that you see at theaters, and so forth. Hope this helps!

DIRTY CHRISTMAS! My good Friend showed me this my kids love it.
*At the party have every one bring a cheep(set a limit like $5.00) wrapped gift
* when everyone is there, let everyone draw a number out of a hat (for the order you go in turns)
*person with number 1 goes first,to pick any present out of pool
they want,and open it
*second person gets to pick out of pool OR take the gift the the first person( if second person takes the first persons gift, the first person gets another gift from pool
*which continues on down the line
** object to game, you want to be last so you can pick from all the open gifts what you want.
