Thanks to everyone that responded. I would like to apologize to anyone I offended. This was the first time I used this format and did not realize I had listed the question in the wrong sub catagory.

I am usually not snide when asking questions but why ask that question to a bunch of vegetarians?? It's disgusting to me that you're buying a Turkey let alone asking how many the poor bird will feed! Look What you do is your own business but please don't bring it somewhere where the thought of it is disgusting!!!

Rule of thumb is one pound raw turkey for each person. So a 20 lb turkey will feed 20 people with no leftovers. if you want leftovers then a 30 lb turkey is sufficient.

I think the general rule is a pound per person. So that should feed about 15 - 20 people, depending on how much people eat.

With bone and waste considered, it will feed approx. 10-12 people depending on their appetites......not anymore unless small children are involved......
