It depends. Genital herpes can lie dormant for a long time. Or it can cause an immediate problem. Or you may have never have noticed the blisters before. Go get screened for herpes, both HSV-1 and HSV-2.
HSV-2 is NOT just below the belt. HSV-1 Is NOT just above the belt. That is a very common mistake that people make. A significant number of new cases of genital herpes are caused by the HSV-1 virus (which most people contract during childhood) and is then spread genitally through oral sex. The virus does NOT know NOR CARE which nerve ganglia cluster it is infecting.
"The scary part is that most people with genital herpes don't know they have it, and are unaware they may be spreading it to others, says Warren. Many have no symptoms or mistake their symptoms for something else, such as jock itch, insect bites, hemorrhoids, yeast infections, razor burn, or allergies to laundry detergent.
Genital herpes, a sexually transmitted disease (STD), is an infection caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). HSV is in the same family of viruses that causes chickenpox, shingles and mononucleosis. There are two types of HSV: HSV-1, which infects 80 percent of the U.S. population, usually appears on the lips in cold sores; HSV-2 is usually found in the genital area. However, if a person with HSV-1 oral herpes (cold sores) performs oral sex, it is possible for the partner to get HSV-1 genital herpes. And HSV-2 can infect the mouth through oral sex.
HSV can cause sores, or lesions, to appear in and around the vaginal area and within the cervix in women, and on the penis and scrotum in men. Both males and females may also get lesions in the urinary tract, around the anal opening, on the buttocks or thighs, and sometimes on other parts of the body."

I got identified with herpes (type 2) about six yrs ago, while I was still in college and had a dumb one-night stand. I know lots of young ladies will declare this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with someone who has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/3jnK2 everything changed.
Not only was I able to eliminate all remnants of the herpes simplex virus from my body in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This system provided the opportunity to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to help you too by sharing this with the World.

Genital herpes (herpes genitalis) is not the same thing as a cold sore. Genital herpes is caused by the herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV2) and cold sores are caused by herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV1). The only relationship is that they both belong the family of herpes viruses.
Usually a group of blisters appears (although they can be single lesions) within 2 weeks of transmission, erupt into open areas that are painful, have a burning and/or itching sensation, often have drainage, may cause fever, an "I feel crummy" feeling and can cause swelling of the lymph nodes in the groin. The open areas heal within 2 weeks. If your "blister" is just now showing up then it hasn't followed this pattern. It's unlikely that you have genital herpes. Continue to monitor the "blister" for changes and avoid sex until this is resolved.

Yikes. It sounds like it. I think Herpes is the only blistering STD, but you need to go to the doctor before it goes away because then it will be harder to diagnose, also refrain from sexual activity so you don't give it to anyone else. I don't have herpes down there, but I get cold sores often and they don't burn or itch, they just tingle, blister and HURT. I've been told GHerps are the same!
Also, you can have the virus for a long time before you have an outbreak!

could be, but it could also just be a pimple. Try pinching it!
Herpes can be in your body for years and you never get a symptom. If it doesn't go away, get tested!
