They _don't_ there? I'm surprised. It's at every fast-food place in Canada, for what that's worth.

But none in the US.

Do they have malt vinegar in the UK...??

This doesn't _quite_ answer your question, but it's of interest:

Eh? I can get vinegar at Lowry Plaza Burger King... In fact I don't think I've been in a BK in the Manchester area were I couldn't... I couldn't eat my fries without vinegar and/or Mayo on 'em. That's just WRONG!!!

Here in Canada the vinegar comes in small packages. All of the fast food restaurants have them. Are you referring to chips and vinegar?

Isn't English cuisine bad enough without adding Burger King into the mix?

Cost-cutting. I remember going to Amsterdam few years back and having to pay for mayo and ketchup (not sure if McDonald's or Burger King). But I was ever so shocked.

Northern Ireland has been less Americanised.
Americans don't have quality: malt/white or onion vinegars so don't know what they're missing.

I love fries with vinegar or mayo but it's not popular in the US. Their tastebuds are still evolving!
