I just got over a terribly sore throat and I use Ricolla cherry honey cough drops. They work amazingly. And they taste great as well.

Well Delsyum isn't a cough drop but its a medicine like dayquil, and it is amazing at helping coughs!

None of them work for me. The best thing that I have found is taking Echinacea at the first sign of symptoms. It usually keeps colds at bay for me.
