Being formal you really don't want to play many games. I think if you have the dance going and then maybe set up casino type games around the room that would be fun. Then not everybody has to play at the same time and it doesn't feel so structured and childish. You can have texas hold 'em, black jack, roulette, etc.

How about a scavenger hunt type game? You can make up a list of questions that they have to get answers to by interacting with other party goers.
A dance contest is another idea.

First, no booze. while you're young toddlers you're able to not be ingesting besides. the only time alcohol makes a occasion greater effective is that if the occasion sucks to start with... so merely have relaxing mutually with your acquaintances and it is normally all good. 2d, do a modern replace like so: all and sundry wraps a sparkling/nicely used present and brings it to the occasion. not something incredibly costly. Get like numbers or raffle tickets or something for human beings to have, and then draw the corresponding ones out of the hat. So say #12 is drawn first, #12 chooses a modern and unwraps it. Then #9. #9 can the two choose a sparkling, wrapped present, or take #12's unwrapped present. So say #9 take's #12's unwrapped present... then #12 gets to circulate choose and unwrap yet another present. Then #5 is drawn, and #5 chooses to get a sparkling, wrapped present. It sounds complicated even with the undeniable fact that that is truthfully relaxing (as long as no person is merely too possesive.) Apples to Apples is mostly a chilled interest to play. (If that is a laid back occasion with close acquaintances then that is acceptable. yet once you're with human beings you do not understand so nicely, that is not consistently as relaxing.) Have the occasion be Christmas themed, definately.

Look up a game called mafia. Don't do board games, go with big group games that allow interaction with people.
