I feel my skin has become brighter and clearer, especially after I finally got rid of dairy.
At first it got worse, but I think that was just my body "de-toxing," that whole experiance was gross, but at least I did some reading before hand, and was warned!
Diet does play a role in skin conditions, as does genetics, stress, and all sorts of other factors.

No, I became a vegetarian at 16 and never had adolescent acne either before or after the switch. I did start getting acne at about 21; I attribute the clear up to really learning how to take care of my skin instead of punishing it. The only dietary factor that I believe makes a difference for me personally is how much water I drink.

i was diagnosed with high cholesterol so was put on a vegetarian diet and i also have watch the amount of dairy i have (not a lot of cheese, only fat free milk, no eggs) and the biggest compliment i have gotten since i've started this diet in july is "your skin looks great" i never had any acne or face problems but something has obviously changed in my skin. when i ask how its changed people just say "i dont' know it looks more fresh and healthy and glowing" i also drink about 5 gallons of water a week. so i do think it affects your skin but everyone is different. hope that helps!

Exfoliate your skin once a week using a paste of honey and sugar. It's gentle and honey is very moisturizing so it'll help clear your skin. For a really good cream look for Monsia skincare online, its vitamin C and natural stuff which will help a ton with uneven skin and acne scars. They have toner, cleanser, night and day creams. Really good stuff and works like a charm if you use them properly along with good hygiene and a good diet.

Yep, my skin cleared up and I lost about 15 lbs. However, I attribute a lot of this to making a drastic reduction of iodized salt from my diet. Once the salt was gone, my skin was a lot smoother and paler.
