Our landlady will not fix or replace our oven and I really would like to get and fix a tofu turkey again this year but don't know if you can cook one in a countertop/toaster oven? Any one ever tried?

it will work the same if you have an oven setting. My mom did it last year for my sister cause there was no room in the regular oven. That stuff is so yummy...and i'm a meat eater!

It may not taste wuite the same, but yes, you can. Unlike animal flesh, soy products like tofurky don't require being cooked through to get rid of toxins that will give you food poisoning. Essentially, mock meats just need to be heated, not cooked. Give the toaster oven a try, I'm sure you can pull it off.

Yes you can but you must check it often. Normally a
Tofurkey cooks for two hours on a low 300 degrees. Set yours on that but you need to slice it up before you cook it and cover with aluminum foil. Check it every thrity minutes..It will depend on how big amount of meat you have to cook or how big your toaster oven is of course..so just check it often and you should be able to pull it off.
