The only way rye bread helps people with diabetes is in sandwich making!

No it doesn't. Matter of fact, dry bread has more sugar in it than most grain breads do...Always read your labels before eating stuff. I love rye bread and I am a diabetic. I thought it was ok and I found out through my nutritionist that it isn't. Good Luck

You will have to check the recipe to see how many carbohydrates there are in the bread. That is the only way you can tell where you are at.
