Vitamin A is good for your eyes. However, there is only a certain limit to the amount you have to take. There is such problem as carotenemia, in which if you take too much of carots or Vitamin A, your skin will be a little bit yellowish. I had a patient who used to eat papaya daily, he turned out to be jaundice after sometime. Jaundice is the yellowish discoloration of the eyes or the skin . When he stopped eating papaya, the yellowish discoloration subsided.

It's healthy to eat one cup of cooked carrots everyday no matter how old you are. Just don't only eat one cup of carrots a day...anorexia isn't cool.

Carrots are rich in Vitamin C, and they are very good for you but they are better and have more vitamins if eaten raw, try grating them in salad, or use them with a dip or cream cheese

Carrots are good for you. I have shredded ones every day in a salad. If you eat too many, you body will turn an orangish color. That's a fact. Professional wrestlers take Beta-carotene pills to get this color.

Be better if you ate them raw as more of the vitamins and minerals are obtained that way.

It's ok... if you don't mind having orange hands and feet! Check your palms and under your feet... if orange you're overdoing it!
