How many people have experienced a temporary loss of taste after using nasal sprays or Afirn in particular.

I took another brand last night before bed - Otrivin - it's been 12 hours and I have a reduced sense of taste and smell. I can smell a bit but nothing strong. I am beginning to think nasal sprays are b-a-d.

I had that happen with Afrin about 11 years ago and it took over a month to regain my sense of smell and taste . . . not cool.

i can't say i have however, i can say that the drainage down the back of the throat is nasty
