i just discovered that i might have chlamydia and my partner has performed oral sex on me within the past month. i think i may have had it then and i was wondering if one could get chlamydia in the mouth then how is it treated?

it's the most common STD and it can go undetected...you can get it from oral sex..but not likely...there are 26 common known STDs and 24 of them you can get orally...

It's a type of bacteria that can cause sterility in women and men — if it's left untreated. Having unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse can put someone at high risk for getting chlamydia. It is also possible, but not very likely, to get chlamydia of the throat from oral sex.

Chlamydia is developed in a Mans testicles and passed on from the sperm

Oh yes you can get it by having oral sex. Ask your doctor. A very good friend of mine just had it. Kinda like a sore throat w/mucous, lots of mucous.

You can catch it if you performed oral sex on him, or if you guys had unprotected sex.
