If it is the three day, I would say about three days then. Why are you taking the azo? If it hurts when you urinate you might just have a uti.. Also, there is usually an odor (slightly fishy) when someone has a yeast infection, and the discharge is thick, sometimes curd-like, from a whitish to yellowish color and usually causes itching. It would be a good thing to visit a doc. Sure yeast infections can always reoccur. Some women are prone to having them. Ease up on the sugary foods if you suspect a yeast infection until you are cleared up.

Dear,
Usually ... you will notice a difference in the second day of treatment. you will get less itch ... and the discharge will decrease afterward...
In case of severe infection, you should repeat the 3 day treatment...i.e. to be a 6 day treatment.
Don't worry dear, it's a very common problem ... and even it may recur..(don't think of it after you get rid of it...Ok?)
And you shouldn't, nor your lover, think that it indicate a sort of bad hygein or(non-cleanliness) from your side.. it's not.
You can even have sex..(some ladies feal more eager for sex). it releaves the itch!... let him wear a condom and enter you (be genle with her, my friend!...It is inflamed).... you know something, he will help you getting rid of the yeast, it will come out on the surface of the condom!... and offcource, he shouldn't feel disgusted because a lover love every thing in his partners body (and anything coming out of it ;) )
Some advices:
1) Don't have anal sex followed by vaginal sex with the same (penis) or condom. sorry.. I want to say that, he should clean his penis with soap and water or change the condom.
2) The same point as 1 is applied on a foreplay when he use his finger to stimulate you...its better not to introduce a finger first into the anus then into the vagina.. he can play around that, he can play with your vagina and clitoris before the anus..
3) oral sex is not a source of infection, don't prevent him if he like to lick
4) Last word ... if it was resistant to treatment... and in case of doubt, see your gynaecologist
be happy ...... it happens
yours,
Ammar

From what you describe, you do not have a yeast infection. Vaginal yeast infections should have a smell-like bread or beer. Yeasty. They also have clumpy, cottage-cheese like discharge, not thin, white discharge.
If you've got thin white discharge with no smell, it's likely your vagina's natural fluids and no treatment is necessary, other than wearing a pantyliner if you choose.
If you want to be sure, ask your doctor or nurse practitioner, but what you're describing sounds perfectly normal to me (a retired RN).

How do you know it is a yeast infection? A yeast infection has the smell of freshly baking bread. Also some vaginal discharge is normal. The only way to truely diagnose a yeast or any other type of vaginal infection is to see the doc. Instead of trying to self diagnose you need to see the doc if the discharge is excessive.
