I am looking for a midget to dress up as an elf for my x-mas party I am holding. All I want this person to do is serve some drinks and food

i dont know try the local migit-mart they usualy have some good ones there. but i would say if you have to do this and make fun of small people, then i would try using a kid.

Why a midget?
Put an ad in the local paper for an adult over 21 but, under 5' tall.
You know there are some really good people out there that coul;d be good elves they don't have to be short do they?

Look up a local talent casting firm in NYC. They should be able to give you some great referrals in midget actors to do that role.

You might call a casting company that sends out actors for your specialized request as quickly as possible. Many actors have waiter/waitress jobs between acting "gigs".
By the way, I believe the politically correct (and less offensive) descriptions are "Little Person" or "Little People" or "Dwarf".
