I'll assume that you didn't wear protection, so you are at risk for contracting the virus.

The standard test for HIV is the HIV Elisa test. The average time it takes to develope antibodies to the HIV virus is 25 days. 94% of people will test positive after 56 days of infection and 97% after 90 days. The remaining 3% will take up to six months. This is due to an abnormal immune system and is considered very rare.

If you have a healthy immune system I would get tested after 25 days and then again at 90 days. You can consider the 90 day test conclusive.

Get tested now and then go back in about 3-6 months for another test because HIV can take several months to show on a blood test. Don't be soooo stupid next time! Do not have unprotected sex with someone you do not know let alone at all.. You are just asking for it if you keep that risky behavior up.

you can get tested anytime. But the virus can take up to six months to show up on a blood test.

What good does it do to worry about it now? So you get tested and find out you are positive...isn't this something you should prevent??? Not just find out about afterward?? I don't get you people!! Taking the chance of getting AIDS is worth getting your dick wet for?
