spent the last 5 n half months in n out of hosp. was in intensive care for the first 2months. had a tracheostomy n months latewr after discharged was coughig blood b4 that spent several weeks vomiting n getting funny burning smells, went back with a chest inf or so they thought they did a bronchioscopy and found a line(plastic tube ) with rivits of a screw had been left behind. had to have surgery with a cut of 7 inches, were the original was 7 mm!!!!!!!!!!! whats the best thing to do ???

you have every right to sue these people, you never should have had to go through all that, you must have been terrified, i am so very sorry for you, you go get yourself a good lawyer and get paid for their carelessness, you sure have earned it. there was absolutely no reason that you should have had to go through that hell. good luck to you and God Bless You!!!

This is malpractice. I would consult a lawyer and see if they can atleast cover the medical expenses at the least. You are entitled to be compensated for your time and money from the surgery. Record any conversations with them. Document when you spoke to the hospital what they told you, and the dates. Also keep a diary of your recovery. Best of luck to you. This has happend to other people before and they were able to be compensated for this. best of luck.
