I have a dime size red painful soft lump on the inside of my right butt cheek, without pus. It has been there for over a week. It does not look like any pictures of Herpes I have found on the internet. But I am worried sick. It hurts to sit and it hurts when I walk because of friction. PLEASE HELP

Also, I have been with my boyfriend for just about a year now so I haven't been with anyone else for about a year and a half no and neither has he. He shows no signs or symptoms of anything, so I am thinking that whatever this is, it is not spreadable. I thought possibly a infected hair follicle, chafing, ingrown hair...not really sure. But like I said it doesn't have pus, no head, or whitehead. It has been there for over a week now. I have had it before I just never payed attention to it. It is almost cleared up now. I am just confused on what this could be. PLEASE HELP

omg my friend had the same thing. hers was a boil. it eventually poped it was just filled with fluid but looked redish in color. it could possible be an ingrown hair as you butt check sweats and air doesnt make its way inthere all to often but id say it was a boilor ingrown hair. either way try taking a cloth and put hot water on it and press it against the irrated bump daily and it doesnt go away in a week-3 id go the doctors. dont worry you will be fine it does not sound like an std and genital warts/anal warts are itchy so dont sweat it

Well condoms are not foolproof, silly head. They have a small percent fail rate. You might have taken some pharmaceuticals to be absolutely safe, but they interfere with the Natural Life Cycle of your body; progesterone, gonadatropin, and estrogen. They may prove a hazardous risk and increase the possibility of certain cancers.

It can be a pimple, an ingrown hair, or it can be an abcess. If it continues to cause u problems, go to a dr. An abcess has to be opened and drained.
