You get carbohydrate from spaghetti and protein from pine nuts & basil paste and you may add some more other roasted nuts like almonds, walnuts, sesame seeds in this recipe. (Just sprinkle the roasted nuts on spaghetti)

300g spaghetti
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 gloves of garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon of cooking wine or sherry
salt to taste
water

1) Heat water in a big pot, add a tablespoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt in boiling water, boil spaghetti according to the package instruction. When cooked drain well and set aside.
2) Heat olive oil over medium heat with a frying pan, stir fry garlic till fragrant, add spaghetti and wine, stir fry quickly for 1 minute or till spaghetti is hot, toss pine nut & basil paste to combine with spaghetti.
3) Remove from heat, serve hot.

150 ml extra vrigin olive oil
50g fresh basil, chopped
2 gloves of garlic, chopped
40g pine nuts, roasted
40g grated parmasen cheese
salt & pepper

1) Blend all ingredients with blender or food processor till smooth, adjust taste.
2) Add more grated parmasen cheese on spaghetti if desired.

I've got some delecious Indian stuff for you : Aloo ka parontha with butter.All you need to do is make a small ball(size of your fist) of wet(Dough)wheat flour(flour must contain it's wrapper[the covering outside the seed] also called 'Ghar ka atta' in our area.)
Fill it with mashed potato(they must be boiled for three minutes in water) Don't forget to add spices in the mashed potato(salt,red chilly powder,etc..) Now flat(thick:about the height of 50 pages) the ball.Put the Flattened thing in a pan on med.. flame and *keep adding(putting)butter at its boundary and beneath it. keep it there for 30-40 sec..and flip it.* keep doing it(**)till it turns Brown with black spots. Have it warm with butter and you can have juice too.You'll EnJoY it for Sure.

If your wanting more carbs-shoot for bread or pasta , as far as protein I would go for Tofu or other sy products-thats your best bet.

If you make fresh pasta or buy fresh pasta... it would have a lot of carbs and protein.
