My little cousin is only 2 and has pneumonia.
Last night she was gasping for air so they rushed her to the hospital.
Do you think she'll be alright?

Don't worry, babies are very resilient. She will be just fine with proper treatment.

i will have to say yes. my daughter isn't quite 11 months old yet and she's been hospitalized for RSV within the first 2 months of her life and had pneumonia at 6 months. She's a normal kid and carries on her life as a normal infant her age would. she's getting treatment early on with her pneumonia it seems so i wouldn't worry. just make sure that she's properly attended to as the physician instructs. kids are much stronger than adults it seems sometimes when it comes to incidents such as this. good luck and I'll keep her in my thoughts. i know how scary it can be.

If your cousin has been taken to the hospital, chances are she will be fine. She is at the right place, and they will do all they can to make sure she is taken care of. In the mean time, a little prayer won't hurt. Your totally sweet for having such a caring heart! My prayers are with you both!

If she receives the right antibiotic and is otherwise healthy, she should be all right. As she is in hospital, she can be given oxygen and intensive care, if required. Hope for the best.

There's no way to know for sure but, if they got her to the hospital right away and she is otherwise healthy, I don't see why not.

yeah they will give her better medication then she could of gotten at home. She should be ok.
