any cough lasting more than a few days requires the doctor...could be something very serious...go to the doctors...let him check you out...

Coughing is the result of your lungs being irritated. The more you cough, the more your lungs get irritated. It is a vicious cycle. The trick is to stop coughing. Look for what might be causing you to cough. Smoke, stress, lack of sleep, perfumes, food, pollution, dust, pollen and anything else in your environment.

You mentioned it only happens at school... is there anything triggering your cough, certain rooms. Try to narrow it down.

I agree, seeing a doctor might be needed. Doctors only treat symptoms. He will give you a stronger anti cough drug. You need to figure out what is causing this agitation in you lungs. If you can take a week off and stay in bed. It will give your lungs time to heal.

unfortunately i think you need to go to the doctor
you may have a respiratory infection that could lead to bronchitis
but if you really don't want to go to the doctor then try going into the bathroom with the door closed and put the shower on as hot as it goes...stay in there for about 20 minutes and just breathe in the steam...this helps break up any congestion and also try using cough drops throughout the day...ricolas taste nasty but really help

You're not going to like it, but you have to see your doctor. This could be something serious, like TB, or walking pneumonia.
