I'm sure you'll get a bunch of answers. Questions like this are good doctor questions. If you are young, a doctor can teach you about your body and what to expect from it. Ask your doctor or just call a nurse.

Are you a person who does a lot of exercise? It is shown in different studies that people who exercise frequently usually have a lower resting heartrate.
Every one has a different "normal" heart rate. Mine is usually around 72-76, my husbands is 60-66. I've had patients in the hospital that have a pulse of 48, and they're good and healthy people other than having a knee or hip relacement. It may just be you. Check with your doctor, talk with him/her and tell him what you're concerns are. That way you can work on it together to find out if its your normal rate or if something else is going on.

In my opinion, I think abnormal. I think you should see a doctor. The normal pulse/heart rate is 60-100 bpm (beats per minute). Anything below 60 is called bradycardia which could indicate that something is wrong. I'm not a doctor but make sure you do see one, even if it is to be on the safe side.

I have a heart condition that requires me to have a pill and this prevents my problem sometimes my beat is down to 48 per minute and apparently this is not a problem. Hope this helps you to not worry. Always if you are worried about some thing wrong it is best to see a doctor and then you can knoww and in knowing you can feel ok again.

There are a lot of reasons to have a slow heart rate, but none for you not to see a doctor about it.

Go see a doctor right away!

Normal heart rate is different for different people. Athletes in particular often have very low heart rates. If you have concerns about your health, you should definitely consult a physician.
