My 21st birthday is coming up next month. What would be some good ways to celebrate it? Also, I'm trying to figure out how to decorate my cake. I was thinking of a square choclate cake with chocolate icing. Taking 4 real red roses, cutting the stem down to about an inch or so, and sticking one on each corner. Then on one side having a martini glass on it, and the other side saying " happy 21st" What do you think?

I think the cake sounds great! A fun way to serve it would be place slices in martini glasses, topped with a high quality ice cream and some strawberries. Yum!
As for party plans, how about renting a stretch hummer and bar hopping your local strip? Since it is your 21st I'm sure drinking will be on the agenda, renting a car and driver is a fun and safe way to go. Plus, that way everyone can have fun! No need to make one of your friends the designated driver!
Have a great birthday!

Happy Birthday! You could always take some friends to the hot tubs and a club. Maybe a fancy dinner out. A shopping spree at the mall and then have lunch or dinner. I think your cake sounds good but i would rather have edible roses and your local bakery could make those for you. Have fun and happy B-day

Deffinately go with the martini theme! I really liked the idea someone had of serving the cake in the martini glasses! Do something classy not trashy and you'll be fine and not regret anything!

The cake sounds like a fantastic idea....so why not make it your theme and have a martini party...or happy hour.Find some cool new martini's to serve. You could serve nuts and dips in martini glasses...little hor'd ourves to make it classy...and what girl wouldn't want to dress up for a cocktail party!!!!! Happy 21st!

For the cake, after frosting it and making the edges and corners nice and sharp, melt some choc chips and parrafin wax and dump it on top, pushing it to drizzle over the edges. it will turn out flawless and shiny. then add your roses.

if your having friends over, since it's YOUR bday, you don't want to be in the kitchen the whole time, so how appout a ton of pre-made appetizers to snack on throughout the evening. it's easy, yummy and filling.

have a blast and be safe!
