That's something you do need to talk about with your partner. It is a very important topic, especially when it concerns sex, STDs, and your health. Slowly bring up the subject, tell him that you two can get the exams done together. But if he gets angry, avoids the subject, and refuses to get tested, you will then need to re-evaluate your relationship.

I requested it before we were intimate. I never avoided talking about it.

before i get down/intimate with a girl we'll both go get tested therefore we will know whether to do it or not

i definitly have my partners tested before intercourse. its only right. you have male sluts out there, plus female sluts,and all these rampant stds. its just not safe. you have husbands cheating on their wives and vice versa, plus the men on the down low. sleeping around is not an option.
