my son had to go on a no sugar diet for almost 2 years after he had gotten extremly sick in dec 2004 and almost died (thought to be a liver disorder but later cleared and has been healthy ever since) His diet was milk meat and cheese he was allowed to have lactose (the sugar in milk) but he was not allowed to have any sucralose,sucrose,glucose-fructose, which eliminated all fruits, vegetables and any juices of any kind.
we did make do by allowing him to have french fries(which after they are deep fried lose all of their natural sugars) and he was allowed potato chips. Being on this diet included alot of research to find out who had sugar in their foods like weendys, macdonalds, burger king, dairy queen. Dylan could only eat chicken nuggets from macdonalds as they were the only ones without sugar in the coating on the nuggets and he could only had wendys fries. I spent alot of time looking into how sugar can be in a product and not be on the label (it was very difficult talking to major companies about this problem) but it was worth it because my son could not have these products.
He did alright on his diet and got along quite well. He did need a supplemental vitamin (which he did not take very well at all) He was on this diet from being 18 months old till august of this year (he turned 3 in june)
He developed extremly well while on this diet and grew up fine.
this diet did not hurt him in any way but it can cause problems to a normal healthy person as taking away all of the nutrients and vitamins from all of the diiferent food groups can cause lots of other health problems.
Good Luck And Take Care And He Is Now A Healthy 3yr Old Busy Boy.

I'm afraid you won't be able to do it ... unless you propose to live on simply water for the next 3-4 months. Your body breaks down most foods into simple sugars, of which glucose and sucrose are two.

Quite the contrary, actually. Our body has plenty of sources of glucose (cereals, fruit and vegs) without us needing to resort to sugars. Tough, though, for there's so much hidden sugar in totally unsuspected foods, supplements and the like! I was quite shocked to find out there was sugar in a pack of fresh prawns I was about to put in my supermarket shopping basket a couple of days ago, especially 'cause I'd bought it before without checking, taking for granted that there were no ingredients other than....prawns!!

If each thing on your place has sugar, you would be able to desire to bypass procuring! Many arranged ingredients contain sugar. cook dinner from scratch, making use of sparkling or frozen greens, potatoes, chicken or fish, pasta with sauce (examine the label), chowders and domicile made soups, oatmeal, beans, salads (examine the dressing or make your very own oil & vinegar), sparkling fruit., effortless yogurt, cottage cheese...jeez, the checklist is countless! in basic terms use healthy ingredients, sparkling whilst a possibility, and don't purchase something with aspects your grandmother does no longer know!

no, but I would do it gradually so you don't shock your body and go through withdrawal, thats when you will get cravings. You would will be living a totally savoury life and only eating fresh foods. You cannot eat ANYTHING that comes out of a box or is pre-prepared, not even ketchup! Then, once your three months are up you are gonna feel like you are an ADHD sufferer, all hyper all the time!
