No dear. I also got HPV ( I think I hate this because sometimes there are no symptoms on your partner.....the reason protection is a must! )
I had the cancer related type on my cervix, there was too much and too far advanced to freeze, so they did a laser surgery, where they actaully cut chuncks of my cervix out! A month after they did it, guess what? I was pregnant.

If I had the cancerous type and this is what I went through....I am pretty coinfident in saying the procedure you underwent for the HPV has no bearing on your ability to concieve. You ma y want to see a fertiltiy specialist, if you have been trying for 2 yrs....God Bless!

This book is a must read for any woman trying to get pregnant. I was devastated and so was my husband after being told by my fertility specialist at age 38 that I had no option but to consider adoption or donor eggs (according to my doctor I was out of eggs and gave me 4% chance of getting pregnant and a 2% chance of carrying a baby to full term). After much research and dozens of hours reading infertility related articles and posts online, I have found this book! I never believed in anything alternative to western medicine and thought all the other stuff like Chinese medicine was a hoax. But I was soon glad to be wrong as I followed step by step guidelines. After one month of trying I became pregnant and had a beautiful healthy boy. Nine months after that I did everything in the book again and after 2 months of trying I got pregnant again and gave birth to another perfect little boy. I would recommend anyone with an open mind to read this book. It just might be the answer to your prayers.

you may have some scar tissue on the outside "entrance" of your cervix, but this shouldn't stop you unless it was a REALLY big hpv cell patch and they had to do a lot of removal. next time you go for a pap (you should get them 2X/yr once you've had hpv) ask your dr if he/she sees any scar tissue

Probably not, however, you really should consult your OB/GYN and possibly run some tests. It may not be you at all, it may be your partner.
A friend of mine was trying to get pregnant, thought it was her so her and her partner both went to the doctors and come to find out it was him.
Your best bet is for both of you to go see your doctors and get checked out.
Good luck and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! :o)

I suggest you go to see your doctor as only someone with your full medical history and the facilities to do tests would be able to answer such a question accurately.

no cryotherapy does not prevent one from getting pregnant. you could try for like a year before you see a specialist. and they also have ovulation detectors in the drug stores with the pregnancy test. they will tell when it is time to start trying to concieve.

Why are you seeking an answer on the web? Best place to start is to ask your gynecologist.
