its about probability. The more you expose yourself to something the more likely you are to become infected.
Please don't put yourself at risk its very serious. I am glad you are thinking about the dangers of std's. The best way to avoid them is by not having sex. The second best way is by having protected sex with as few partners as possible and by both you and your partner being tested frequently, especially if you have an open relationship.

This is 5 questions in less then 2 hours you have asked related to your homework about AIDS, asked in 3 categories. I suggest you spend less of our time trying to get us to do your homework, get your head out from where you left it, sit down in a more comfortable position, and get to work doing your studies about one of the most major health events that will, in one way or another, impact your life.

Because you don't know where all of the partners might have been, what their drug habits are, who they sleep with, etc. It's just a lot riskier if you have multiple partners because you probably don't know the details.

simple germ swapping. say you have unprotected sex with john 1, and he has had 10 partners he had unprotected sex with, therefore you have now had 11 partners with unprotected sex, because their germs are in him, and now in you. now let's say you have unprotected sex with john 2, he has had unprotected sex with 20 women you do know.....so you have had sex twice, with 2 different partners.......but have swapped germs with 32 people. you can see from that small analogy how contracting HIV and AIDS would be easy. so......be aware, be safe, be protected.....and good luck. (PS go get some condoms)

Every time you have unprotected sex, it's like you are having sex with all of the people that they have had sex with. So if you have sex with 10 people and they have all had sex with ten people and those people have had sex with ten people, you just had unprotected sex with 1000 people. That is how you get an STD. Use protection...It will save your life!
