Rice! Get a chicken breast (1 per person), and mix a small tub of double cream and a few spoons of wholegrain mustard. Pour this over the chicken in a casserole dish, bung in the oven on medium-high heat for approx 30 mins and you have a lovely dish - serve with rice! Enjoy!

Are you talking about flavoring the rice or pasta or drinking it as a complement? If you are flavoring, then I would say rice, the Japanese use green tea to flavor rice frequently. If it is to serve as a beverage, rice again. Think Japanese.
Try this recipe:
Oven Cooked Green Tea Rice
Ingredients:
2 cups (500mL) water, boiling
1 tbsp. (15mL) butter
8 Green Tea Bags
1 cup (250mL) uncooked long grain rice
½ (2.5mL) teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Combine boiling water and Green Tea Bags together. Let stand for 10 minutes.
In a 1-quart (1L) casserole bowl, combine green tea and butter; stir until butter melts. Stir in rice and salt. Cover casserole bowl.
Bake in a preheated 350ºF (180ºC) oven for 30-35 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork before serving.
This recipe can be doubled for a crowd. For an interesting twist substitute quick cooking barley for the rice.
Yield: Serves 4 - Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 30-35 minutes

rice every time. While the rice is cooking I saute onions, garlic, celery, mushrooms, peppers and minced lamb. I always add a lamb stock cube to taste. I then mix altogether with the rice, let cool then put in an egg and mix. I put this mixture into peppers that I have scooped out all the seeds and put them in boiling water. Let them soften a little empty water off then put meat mixture in.put in dish that will go in the oven. Pour bolognaise sauce around the stuffed peppers and cook in the oven. serve with garlic bread and salad. Enjoy.

Pasta!!!
I do a really simple chicken pasta. Tuscan passata and Tuscan chopped toms (tinned from waitrose) onion, garlic and loads of basil. Fry onions and garlic. Deglaze the pan with some wine then add both lots of toms and reduce. To finish add lots of torn basil and season to taste Simple but fantastic great for using up left over chicken.

"for tea"..What do you mean? The British tradition, cooking with tea or eating something with tea as a beverage.
In the last two, I'd definitely go with rice.

Pasta (tagliatelle) - with oil, garlic, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, spring onions, and prawns, plus some garlic bread and a nice bottle of white wine.
