Hi,

I recently smoked with an unknown random person. I was wondering is it possible i could have caught HIV or any other STDs e.g. hepatitis of this person if there was blood or saliva on the cigarette mouthpiece.

thanx

yup you can. the risk is low unless you had / have open cut on the inside of you mouth. But it is possible....low risk but check out WEBMD.COM.

very unlikely...
only possibly situation is...if there the random person had HIV AND he had his blood on the mouthpiece AND u had a split lip or bleeding gums AND that blood then entered wherever u were bleeding
This applies for Hep as well...

other saliva transferrable infections require a LOT more saliva than u would share on the mouthpiece.

so dont worry bout it, its highly highly unlikely

Very unlikely,
First of all HIV cannot be passed through spit, and you would only catch it if they had a cut in their mouths (which was still bleeding which in itself is highly unlikely!) and you also had a cut in your moutn so chill no HIV for you!

yes you can. especilall y hep B is transmised with very little blood. I would say it is very little posibilyty to get infected in that way, but it is possible.

I think it is very unlikely but what a disgusting thing to do. If you carry one indulging in such nasty habits you are probably going to catch something quite nasty anyway

HIV - very, very, very unlikely. Hepatitis, don't know. Possibly herpes, if they have them.
