Omg!! I was bored so I looked at this question and went to the link the other answerer suggested - It was so gross!!!
There should be a warning or something!!!
All I can say is thank god it's rare, the chances of you having it are probably slim and the chances of me getting it are hopefully slimmer lol!!

Its all on your head... once you seem interior the mirror, your observing your self in softer lighting fixtures and in many situations basically from the comparable perspective. once you're taking a photograph, each and all of the shadowing around your face is eradicated via the flash and it shows yet another area of your self which you will have missed interior the mirror. play around with lighting fixtures and angles in case you % some advantageous photos.
