My doc is unavailable for 2 more days; my only feeling is an intermittent headache. We had been weaning the Norvasc after I experienced pretty significant pedal edema when we doubled from 10 to 20 mg daily of the Norvasc. When we started the wean, she added Cardizem. Other than the standard disclaimer about not abruptly stopping medication, is there something specific I should be looking for? We have been travelling due to some family emergencies, and that is why I ran out.

I am hoping that your doctor is available by this time, you can always ask a partner to refill for a few days too. nonetheless, reducing norvasc,, your blood pressure may go high, so watch for that, other than that, just a word of caution, the highest dose recommended of norvasc is ten mg not 20, good luck
