Did you mean Bird's Nest Soup?
"Bird's Nest Soup (China): Made from the nest of a particular kind of cave/cliff swallow. The swallow secretes a substance from a gland (similar to a salivary gland) as an adhesive to bind twigs and leaves and such together to make the nest."
My understanding is that Bird's Nest is extremely expensive to purchase here in the US.. being referred to as a special delicacy for the "very rich".

Most good quality Oriental food store or a Chinese Herbal store, I buy dried scallops and sharks fin in Toronto, and has seen a number of stores carrying birds nest, it is kept behind the counter and must be asked for.
Last ime I saw a package in a store it was marked $125.00, as for the weight it could not have been much more than 8 oz, I also buy abalone in tins, they run $8-10.00, depending on the quality, callaround and check, if not try the internet, most of the specialty food sites for Asian foods could hook you up.

I know how to make birds nest porridge.
First, find a disused swallow's nest and take it down.
Then, give it a quick rinse under the tap and chuck it in a pan containing 2 cups of milk.
Bring to the boil, and lower to a simmer. Add 3 cups of sea salt, and 4 tablespoons of red hot chili powder.
Cook - stirring occasionally - for 4 hours (or until rock hard.)
Turn out onto plate, and get your hammer and chisel out...!
WARNING - this food product can seriously damage your teeth! So remove them before starting to eat ...
