Its a vegetarian food. An egg isn't innocent life until it is fertilized, so as a pro-life vegetarian, I eat eggs.

Some Vegetarians would say Non or None cause eggs isn't a plant. Most Vegetarians do
eat eggs though cause no life is killed to eat eggs. It's only unfertilized eggs that are eaten!
If you are refering to Vegan that the idea of eating eggs is an absolute NO NO NO for Vegans.. is absolutely strictly plant items not even dairy products of any kind! Anything from animals is avoided by Vegans. I am a Vegetarian but close to a Vegan but not Vegan!
I drink mor soya milk than regular milk cause it's cheaper. I do eat eggs occasionally meaning not often not more than 10 eggs in a week sometimes less! Many eat alot more in a week! I also have a recipe for false egg
recipe in Veggy Corner book available from
www.dollardaysplus.biz $16.95

It is an unfertilised chicken ovulation. You can eat it if you are a lacto - ovo or an ovo vegetarian but not if you are a vegan . It is akin to those lost by human females once a month.
Sorry if the answer grossed you out a bit but it is true! In other words it will never turn into and animal and is essentially waste that once had the potential of becoming a chicken but the rooster did not fertilise it . Therefore the chicken's body just disposes of it.
I think I will lay off on that fried egg sarnie for a long while!!!!

Depends on weather you're a vegan or a vegetarian
Vegans do not eat anything that comes from animals.
Vegetarians may supplement their diet with Eggs and dairy.
The thing is are you comfortable eating eggs?
if you are than it's right for you.
Sometimes you can get free range eggs but they are expensive. you can also use things like egg beaters. It takes some time to adjust to the taste but if you find it hard cracking your eggs but still need the protein than products like egg beaters may be a decent alternative.
good luck!

Eggs are an ovo-vegetarian food. Obviously, they are not vegan. And, although an unfertilized egg will never become a chicken, it's not like laying hens are allowed to lay eggs until they die of natural causes. When egg production falls off, laying hens are slaughtered. Likewise, dairy cows are slaughtered when they are no longer economically viable. And, of course, cows have to have babies in order to produce milk, and male calves typically end up as veal.

if you are vegan, you basically DON'T EAT/USE/etc. ANIMAL PRODUCTS.

Egg came from chicken and chicken is an animal, therefore its a non-veg food

you can't eat it unless you consider yourself a mild vegetarian

If it's an egg with no embryo(no life inside), then it IS a vegetarian food.

Egg Is NON VEGETARIAN..
trust me i have been a vegetarian for my entire life...
even thought it is unfertilized it contains the cells and tissues of what would have eventually become a chicken.
