Registered Nurse Here; You shaved just prior to having sex correct? If this is the case most likely the itch is from the friction to new shaved area during sex. Can cause, irritation, dry skin, and finally just itch for the area is irritated and the hair is growing back in. Having said this, be sure and watch area for redness, pimples, pus pockets, soreness, foul smell, elevated temperature. If any of these symptoms occur seek medical attention immediately, for they are all signs of an infection. Please don't mash a pimple or pus pocket, now days it is strongly discouraged, due to rapidly spreading staph, that is difficult to eliminate with antibiotics. Please don't pop the pimples. Thanks for the opportunity to address such a well written question.

I had the same thing happen to me befor! It's a razor rash!and after shaveing, haveing sex just irritated it even more ! With a tissue, dab some rubbing alcohol on the area and it will heal quick .It does sting for a second, but it's better then what your feeling now i'm sure.Apply the alcohol more then once if you need. Anytime you shave, anywhere! Use the alcohol to kill any germs from getting into the pores! That's why we get red dot's when we shave.

Radiologic Technologist here, I know, people think I know nothing about healthcare, quite the contrary. I agree with the R.N.. The shaving probably caused it, however, why do you think you spread it to your brother? are we talking about two different rashes? Also in agreeing with the R.N., staph infections are on the up-rise recently, so don't pick. You can make yourself very ill by doing that.

Depends on where the itch is. Might just be from the hair growing back.
