There is always the dry mix that can usually be purchased in the bulk food section at some natural food stores. Our co-op here stocks it regularly. If you have no luck with that, Try this...

1 19oz can garbanzos
1 small finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic minced
1 1/2 tbsp fresh cilantro
1 tsp dry parsley
2 tsp cumin
1/8 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 c dry bread crumbs
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp fresh cracked pepper
1 c oil for frying (vegetable is what I use)

Mash chickpeas in a lrg bowl. Stir in onion, garlic, cilantro, parsley, cumin, turmeric, baking powder, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Use those hands baby! This is where it is important for those onions to be really finely diced or everything literally falls apart. Shape mixture into 1 1/2" balls and slightly flatten. You should get 18-24. If the mixture isn't holding together well, just add a bit of water little by little til it does.
Heat oil in a large skillet to 375 (or med high). Carefully drop the balls in and fry til brown. Test a couple falafels first and find out if you've got the heat correct. Serve these bad boys however you'd like. I'm sure you've got plans..........
ENJOY!

Do you have an objection to prepared falafel mix? I use the "just add water" stuff! Add water to the powder, let it sit for ten minutes, shape into balls and fry the little suckers! It's so simple! I can even buy the falafel mix bulk at the local health food store.

Some folks decide on to not do specified matters, even if the ones matters do occur to be "ordinary". I'm now not pronouncing consuming meat is (or is not) ordinary, I'm simply pronouncing that simply seeing that whatever is ordinary doesn't suggest we will have to all do it. For me, meat being "ordinary" does not have some thing to do with why I'm vegan. I'm vegan seeing that I consider it is fallacious for animals to undergo while there are flawlessly well choices to consuming meat/different animal merchandise. If you are seeking to say that it is unnatural not to devour meat, then keep in mind what you mentioned approximately utilising a telephone. Edit: As a biology predominant, you will have to recognise that animals (no less than mammals, fish, and birds, which can be those so much individuals devour) do consider affliction, at the same time vegetation can not. That is why consuming vegetation is larger. "Yet whilst - such a lot of different individuals devour meat, what you dont devour is on the whole extra for the others, as a consequence the animals are nonetheless being killed." Are you seeking to say that if I do not devour meat, then others will devour extra meat? What are you basing that on? It's useful give and insist. If ample individuals decide on to not devour meat, that implies the call for for meat will pass down, so the organizations may even cut down the give of meat due to the fact that much less individuals desire it. That manner fewer animals might be bred, tortured and slaughtered while extra individuals decide on not to devour meat. Sure, I'm only one individual, however I'm aspect of a massive institution that does not devour meat. Nobody has ever converted the arena for the larger via pronouncing, "good I'm only one individual, I would possibly not be capable to difference some thing". Abolitionists on no account idea that due to the fact that such a lot of different individuals owned slaves, they would as good possess slaves too. It's like Margaret Mead mentioned, "Never doubt that a small institution of considerate, dedicated residents can difference the arena. Indeed, it's the handiest factor that ever has." To reply your query approximately what might occur to the entire animals if we stopped consuming them - I realize that specified animals, like cows, are domesticated, and can not continue to exist within the wild. However, that does not imply that we have got to torture them in manufacturing facility farms, slaughter them, and devour their flesh, so as to preserve them alive. I realize it's a loopy thought, however might be we would honestly deal with animals as a substitute of torturing and killing them. "I like veggies. BUT i see meat as a fundamental aspect of the vitamin." In that case, you will have to on the whole be taught the fundamentals of nutrients, in particular given that you're a biology predominant. Despite the entire propaganda from the beef and dairy industries, it is now not disputed within the medical neighborhood that a plant-founded vitamin may also be simply as healthful, if now not more fit than, a vitamin that entails animal merchandise. In normal, individuals on a plant-founded vitamin generally tend to are living longer and be more fit, however I respect that that may be as a result of different elements as good. Bottom line is, meat is absolutely NOT fundamental to be healthful.
