It could be a whole lot of different things. How old are you? How long have you had the symptoms? Do you smoke? Do you do drugs? Do you have any history or heart or lung problems? Does only the left arm ache?
These symptoms could be serious. Suggest your call the doctor or go to an emergency room as soon as possible.

normally a heart attack is a dull pressure in the chest (may be severe) radiating down the rifght or left arm. If you do have a heart attack or MI, you will normally have complications afterwards

YES, it could be a heart attack. I hope that by the time you read this, you have been to an ER. It might not be a heart attack, but why take the chance?? GO NOW if you haven't gone to the ER already!!

plz do urself a favour and go check urself.. none of the answers here can be 100% satisfactory (for such a question) unless, of course, from a professional doctor.. but then again, how can u be sure he is??
oh, and just in case, i received this email where it was said then in case someone was alone and started feeling he's having a heart attack, one should breath deeply and cough, breathe and cough, breathe and cough....... and so on till one feels better..
plz go check urself, and i really hope there's nothing wrong with u :)

It could be many things, like stress related, and since your worried that is possible. It could be a flu or cold coming on slowly, and it could be pulled muscles if you have been exerciseing or doing heavy lifting lately. It could be many things including your heart.........you asked, therefore you are concerned, go see your doctor immediately.
