Don't do Chuck E. Cheese. I used to work there. Not that it's a bad place, but it's more for kids around the ages of 3 and up. The one I worked at had only a small section for little bitty kids, and that was the ball area. It's not very sanitary in there! There are a few rides for kids that age, but they aren't that fun, even for a 1 year old. Have the party at home as others have suggested. Much more convenient for napping and diaper changing.

At home with just a few family members. There is no sense in knocking yourself out and spending a lot of time planning a birthday party for a 1st birthday. Your infant is more likely to be freaked out by having a lot of strange people around and being in a strange place. Keep it simple and keep it familiar. Invite family and/or friends your infant feels comfortable with. Prepare a cake and a cupcake just for your daughter. Worry about more extravagant parties when she is old enough to appreciate it.

I'd say Chuck E Cheese or even Pizza Hut. They are nice places for a child's birthday party.

At this age at home with a small family party would be best.Save the big parties for when she is older and will remember them

My daughter is turning one this month and we are just going to have a small party at our house. It will be to cold to do it outside and to expensive to do it somewhere else. Hope everything goes well with her party!!

the back yard. i have friends that have rented out banquet halls and such and it was just to much for the little one to handle. at home you can put up a tent and put them down for a nap at the same place.1 yr olds are more comfortable in their own home i think. have a fun party. where ever it is

Your house, with Family. Or if you don't want people to be there then some place fun. I'd say like the park, but it's cold. Something cute like that.

For about the first 5 birthdays, your daughter isn't going to remember them anyway. So pick a place for you and your guests to enjoy....... and not the pub..
