A Mexican theme party would be fun and easy. Different salsas, taco chips, guacamole dip, bean dip, mole sauce. You could go with either chili, tacos, enchiladas, so many choices, so little time. Have fun!

We just had a great Halloween party in Baja for about 30 people.I made a big pot of chili the day before so I'd have time for other things that I needed to do.I set out paper bowls filled about a 3rd full of fritos and stacked them on top of eachother.I made some salsa, guacamole, set out bowl of sharp cheddar and jalepeno Jack cheese. With the chili staying warm on a hot plate,I let the guests help themselves, topping the frito bowls with chili and toppings of choice.I made corn muffins,Jiffy mix is great, and added some honey and fresh chopped jalapenos. The party was a smash....
Have fun.

chicken wings- cut off the tip section that has no meat on it. Cut the remainder into two pieces. Put them all into a pot and add 1 bottle of say sauce and 1 cup white sugar. Cover with water to just cover the wings. Boil for about 45 minutes or so until the meat is just about falling off the bone. Serve hot and with water for your guest because you will be thirsty after you get done eating the whole batch. I could eat a whole pot of these in 1 day if I didn't have to share with my family! Easy to make and Delicious

Quiche made in cupcake pans so you have mini-quiches.

Shiitake mushrooms stuffed with shredded cheese and mayonnaise mixture, broiled for about five minutes (or until the cheese is toasty).

Party sandwiches -- quartered with the crusts trimmed off, stuffed with ham and cheese, salmon and cream cheese, cucumbers and butter.

French bread toasts -- slice into rounds or ovals, then top with butter. Add cheese to some, and cheese and ham to others, then broil until toasty. You can quarter some cherry tomatoes to top the plain toasts with.

Make your own crepes -- serve up a platter of crepes, and stuff with thinly sliced meats, cheese, lettuce, etc. I like a mayo-mustard mixture with this. For dessert crepes, use whipped cream, chocolate sauce and fresh fruits like sliced bananas, strawberries and canned mandarin oranges.

Oh, I could go on and on, but I need to make breakfast!

I always liked make your own pizza, if you have someone who can play cook at watch the oven. You can buy premade pizza dough, roll 3-4 small onto cookie sheets, and just have a lot of toppings out for everyone to pick their own.

Veggie sushi can be fun too - you might want to practice before cutting the rolls but there's a lot of stuff you can put in there (avocado, cucumber, carrots, a little cream cheese - check the internet for a lot of ideas)

Take some of those flavored wrap tortillas (available anywhere) and spread a little cream cheese on them. Now put some sliced onion, tomato, sliced olives, shredded cheese or whatever you like over the cream cheese (some people like cold cuts, but I don't eat meat). Now roll everything up inside the tortilla and slice them into 5 or 6 pieces. Little bit sized yum yums. There you go.

If you have a fondue pot, you can do tempura in it! (fill it with veg oil)
Get a variety of fry-friendly foods to batter, like shrimp, broccoli, cauliflower, pearl onions, zucchini, mushrooms, and etc.
Make a tempura batter, and let guests batter & fry to their heart's content!!
We've done this several times, and it's fun!
