Smoking negatively affects the circulatory and respiratory systems, but it certainly isn't caused by that. It's a choice, although once taken, is not easily reversed (addictive).

Smoking is caused by stupidity and poor choices.

It affects the respiratory system and the circulatory system, leading to heart attacks, strokes and vascular disease, and is a major risk factor for most cancers.

Huh? Smoking is not caused by anything but the choice of the person who smokes.

Smoking can damage all parts of the body, but it would first affect the respiratory system. You know, the lungs.

Smoking is caused by sucking on a cancer stick.

When you suck on a cigarette it affects your entire system. Mouth, lips, skin, throat, lungs, nervous system, everything. It's a poison. Kills you slowly.'
