hi sweety (because you are diabetic)
stop worrying.
it is quite natural that people start worrying at initial stage when they are advised to take medicines . definitely you can come to pre medication stage provided you develop certain good habits like diet control, simple exersises & medication(as advised by doctor) .
regarding diet control either we are ignorant or we cheat ourselves .i stress this point because i am also diabetic since 13 years. i know it is very difficult to avoid the food which we crave for .each day i tell myself that i am not going to eat the 'barred' food .like this i am adjusting to the situation .you can have tasty food even without sweets & transfat items. don,t copromise on taste.
definitely you have to do simple exercises or brisk walk for 40 minutes daily.
don't stop medication until doctor advises you to do so..
diabetes is not a dicease.it is only deficiency.
so don't bother .go ahead & enjoy yor life.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

You are not being silly to keep your blood sugar under control. I have been a diabetic for about 20 years (or maybe longer and just did not know). Sometimes my sugar will run low and at other times it will run high. If I get sick or anything I have a harder time controlling my blood sugar level. Take good care of yourself and see your doctor on a regular basis. Being a diabetic is a serious matter.

Diabetes is a serious condition ... at your level it should be controlable through diet exercise and some oral medication .... when it gets above 10 all the time then you have to start injections
Some mornings my sugar level is as high as 16 ... but this is usually after a celebration nigh where I've splurged on sweets and ice-cream ... I know ...I know ... but hey ... ya only live once :)
Different countries use different scales to determine Blood Sugar Levels Australia between 4.5 and 6 is deemed to be "normal"

if your sugar level is very high in the morning, I heard that it helps to make sure you have a low carb dinner and do some type of non-stress cardio work out (well just a 20 min walk or something) after you meal...... hope that helps.....but really if this only started post you taking the medication...then you should speak to your doctor. Moreover, the normal range is between 3-6 (uk mode) so 7-8 should not scare you too much.

Um, if it is between 7 and 8 you should be very worried, if not in a coma or dead. 60-120 is the 'normal' range I was taught for blood sugar when I started my RN....perhaps you live in a country other than the US and it is measured differently?
If you mean 70-80 that is in the 'normal' range, but they may have put you on meds because the your blood sugar is not under control by diet anymore and swings up or down more than it should.
