what could be wrong when the steam is not coming out of the vicks vaporizer?

In order for your vaporizer to produce steam you need to put about a half teaspoon of salt in it each time you fill it with water. Don't add salt if you are just adding more water to the mix. Only add the salt if you empty it, and refill it after using it. The more salt you put in, the more steam it will make. To keep your steam at an even flow, stick to the half teaspoon, each time you change the water completely out.

Sometimes you can use it at 3 months but it is best to wait until 6 months because their little lungs can't always handle the vapors of the vicks and so it can lead to breathing problems. I would ask the Dr who would know your sons health if his lungs are strong enough to handle the vapors.

my answer would be that it may be running out of water. If it still has a lot of water in it, I would take it back and get a refund. Maybe too much Vicks got on it and plugged it up. Those are the only reasons I can think of.

Good luck.
