Not all the time but I get a burning sensation down my arm and into my hand, plus I have pressure between my right breast and right shoulder. I get dizzy when this happens. It lasts about 30-40 minutes. I had a few days ago and went to Emergency as it felt like a heartache but my heart was fine. I have to see a Neurosurgeon in Jan but at Emergency they didn't get to see my symptoms as by the time I got there the symptoms had stopped. For about 3 months I have add minor attacks that last about 1 second with the same symptoms. I call them my "Zaps". They have no idea what they are. I am just wondering if anyone else has these symptoms. My blood pressure is usually very low 99/60 and when I get to the hospital it is usually 143 and pulse 126. Not high by their standards but high for me. Thanks everyone.

go see a cardiologist today!!!!! you may not actually be having a heart attack, but maybe fixing to, these are warning signs! are you having nausea when this happens??? if not and you do have it call 911. my husband has had 6 heartattacks he always starts with the soreness and pain in his arm, then he gets very pale, then he gets nauseated. the pain can be a little different for everyone, sometimes its a burning , or a stabbing or shooting pain, or just achey, this combined with dizziness is a sign that something is not right!! good luck!!

I would suggest a visit to a "cardiologist" for an evaluation and NEVER rely on those incompetent ER doctors! I am lucky to be alive because of an ER doctor and his incompetency!!
I had noticed my blood pressure was on the increase for about a year as every time I go to the pharmacy I would check it. Secondly, I had dizzy spells for about a year that were so severe I would have to go to bed usually at least 24 hours. I had a nagging cough that just wouldn't subside with the use of any cough suppresents! I had a constant dull pain between my shoulder blades that would increase and decrease upon exertion! I had no idea it was my heart until another medical event and my physical therapist noticed my color was not normal and began paying special attention to me each time I visited her. She finally concluded I needed to seek the advice of a cardiologist just to be certain. Thank god for her, I had a 95% blocked LAD which is your main coronary artery to the heart. It's referred to as the "widow maker"! I also had three other blockages also. I have been stented and informed open heart surgery might be a necessity sometime in the future.
So see what a cardiologist can find that incompetent ER doctors over look. The ER doctor told me I had an infected Pleura or something like that and gave me anti-biotics!

I'm not sure if you have it or not... read this information on webmd.com. I would suggest your dr does a blood test asap.

If you have a family history of heart conditions in your family share that information with your dr.
