Is a baked sweet potato skin edible? I like crispy potatoes skins but not sure if I can eat it. Thanks.

Yes definitely. You can eat baked sweet potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes and even sweet potato crisps - all with their skins on - and they're lovely.

Yes the skin is edible....however in this day when there's so much "e-coli" going around, make sure you wash all vegetables, and fruit ! In fact, the skin provides lots of fiber and vitamins are usually next to the skin.

I am not sure about the skin but we usually cook the sweet potato over charcoal fire and when fully cooked it tastes wonderful but the skin would have been completely burnt and you have to first remove it before eating.Try once.

Its edible. I've eaten it.
I do scrub them well though - on account of whereever they come from is a long way away, and it probably is not from the cleanest place in the world!

As long as you scrub your veggies, you can eat whatever part of them you like. Sometimes, the skin of a veggie holds the most nutrients. Yummy. I love me some tayto skins.

I haven't keeled over from eating them yet!! Sweet potatoes are yummy!!

Yes you can,they are really yummy, as you would a regular potato, wash it first though. They are really nice roasted too.
