The worse that could happen would be a bacterial infection--but this depends on the cleanliness of the men involved and how quickly they cleaned up afterward. The immune system health of those involved is also a factor: Genitals are constantly bombarded by various types of bacteria whether they've been buried into someone else's colon or not. It may surprise you to know that many women enjoy anal penetration, and the instance of disease transmition isn't any greater amoung these people as it is for gays using anal intercourse. Many of either sex tend to maintain a high standard of hygeine by way of enemas and bathing to reduce the chances that feces will be encountered. It should be noted that one should never attempt oral sex on a penis that has been placed in the anus until the organ is properly cleaned, nor should a penis be allowed to variate between anus and vagina when a female is the recipient. Sickness or infection are far too possible.

Yes, there are all kinds of bacteria in feces and the anus. You can get one nasty infection.

Another thing I would be concerned with would be HPV (Human Papilloma Virus), it is an STD, BUT men can have "high risk" strains of it and never know it and pass it on. There is no approved test for men either, so its not like you can just run down to the clinic and check if you have it. Genital/anal warts are caused from "low risk" types of the virus, usually this is the only way men even know they carry it. Of course, you can have "low risk" HPV and not have warts...so this is some scary stuff. HPV can cause anal dysplasia/cancer in men and a condom cannot even fully protect you 100%.

Please do NOT have anal sex without a condom and if you have go to the doc for a check-up.

A resounding YES! Feces is NOT a clean substance and carries many types of bacteria from the bowel, intestines, and even from the food we ingest.
Anal sex is wrong wrong WRONG no matter how you look at it and the numbers of men getting diseases from this filthy habit today speak for themselves.

yes. penetration of the anus can split the anus and cause it to bleed. It can lead to piles/haemoroids and make it very painful to poop. Anal sex is the easiest way to get std's and infections.
