Absolutely. I am a Type 1 diabetic and when my blood sugar goes low enough, I get really tired and want to go to sleep. I have had it for almost 14 years. If this is happening to you, don't go to sleep! Drink some orange juice, grape juice, or have some candy, because you don't want to end up in a coma. It's really that serious. Not only can low blood sugar do this, high blood sugar can as well.

yes, it can make them very sleepy, and if it gets too low, you can go into a diabetic coma, into which, it just means your sugar is too low, and it is going to take a hospital, and a doctor to even get close into bringing it up enough to wake up... be careful, check your sugar regularly if u are a diabetic, and don't let it get too high or too low...
