I have been having chest pain/stomach pain for a while and they ruled out my heart. I also ache in my upper back and feel full when I haven't eaten anything?? Does any of this sound like gallbladder trouble?

It could be.

Pain from cholecystitis is usually, but not always loaclised to the right upper quadrant with radiation to the right flank and back and lower chest.

However, there are many other things it could be, an ultrasound scan would be needed to confirm cholecystitis and other tests may be needed to investigate other potential causes of your pain.

not really, I don;t think. I had gallstones & have had my gallbladder removed about 10 months ago. The pain I felt was like a really bad stitch after you've run a long time. It was just under my ribcage on the right side of my body. It usually happens at night when I ate a fatty meal. It used to wake me up at about 3am & keep me up for a few hours.

Oh my goodness YES! I had to have mine removed, but not before I ended up in the ER with what I thought was a heart attack! You can eat a million tums and take all sorts of anti-nausea/indigestion pills and NEVER make a dent in the pain.

Absolutely, get a Ultra Sound of the GB and let them find those stones. Until then, laying on your left side will help...hey they do not like it if you are on the job and need to lay on your left side! Best to see to this right away, before Christmas...it could easily get inflamed, congest the liver, turn you yellow and end up in the hospital for turkey day or christmas.

over the final month of being pregnant with my son I developed gallstones. in basic terms, i did no longer know it became gallstones. I referred to as my ob questioning it became early labor. with the aid of fact the soreness began interior the rib cage and radiated to the lower back and up in the process the shoulders now and lower back it became an insufferable soreness, and eating continually made it worse. i'd advise you spot your wellness care professional as quickly as a possibility. interior the period in-between, sidestep the grease. Don’t consume great or maybe regularly occurring length nutrients. you're greater desirable off to consume very very small parts greater many times. sidestep complicated to digest ingredients. in case you could change to veggie foodstuff plan till after your appointment you have much less soreness. and that i'd sidestep eating on the brink of bedtime.

That's a lot of the symptoms I had. I no longer have a gallbladder. My friend is going through the same kind of pain and they say it's her gallbladder.

Could very well be. Might be time for some diagnostics like an ultra-sound or an upper GI. Best of luck 'cause I know that a gall bladder attack hurts like hell.
