UTI's can be transmitted sexually, but it is not a form of STD...These are separate entities. Trust me, I have had UTI's before, and they were not from SEX! Drink a little cranberry juice or go get some pills from any store that contain cranberry, and it will go away. If you go to the doctor, they'll give you antibiotics; however, you need to take them for at least three days and the pain will get worse. That is it's way of clearing up!

Well, yeahhhh!!! If a woman gets a bladder infection as the result of having sex (and this is very common), then of course she can also have contracted an STD.

BUT... just having a bladder infection does NOT mean one has contracted an STD.

no dat doesnt mean that you have hiv but its common that urinary trac infectoins come from a women and if she isnt checked out you can keep tranferring it back and forth through sex it it can possibly turn into something serious so to be an the safe side use protection take all of the medicine the doctor gave you and go in for a follow up appointment.

UTI is not a sexually transmitted disease.

HIV, is a sexually transmitted disease. It attacks your immune system & prevents you from fighting off other dieaseses & illnesses.

Get tested anyway.
