Condoms do not guarantee 100% protection against STDs. They only help reduce the chances of getting an STD or pregnant. The only things that do give the 100% guarantee against STDs are abstinence (no oral or anal either), masturbation, or having a monogamous relationship (you have sex with 1 person and that person only has sex with you) which has to be an agreement for the people involved. Read about STDs so that you can help prevent yourself from getting any of the diseases since you can better identify signs and symptoms. The use of LATEX condoms every time you have sex helps. Also remember that if a lubricant is used, it should be water-based. Also, drugs and alcohol use reduce your chances of being protected because they inhibit your ability to make clear/right decisions that you would normally make (such as requiring the wearing of a condom). Even if you are in a monogamous relationship, you should regularly check yourself for STDs since some of the diseases aren't only gotten though having sex (like Syphilis which can also be spread by kissing and Gonorrhea which can also be spread though contact with infected bodily fluids).
Remember that not having sex or sexual relations is the only sure way to prevent STDs and some STDs symptoms aren't always visible or apparent to the naked eye.

Although condoms are specifically made for protection from STD's, they are never fully effective. Condoms have about a 70% protection rate from gono for guys. So he could have gotten it from you, but it's still unlikely. Don't let him point the finger at you until you get your test results back. Even if it didn't break, it could have a manufacturing defect.

Unfortunately condoms are just back-up and by no means a fail-safe. I know a girl who was going to medical school, was on the pill and was so paranoid about getting pregnant she made her boyfriend use 2 condoms at a time. She got pregnant. Condoms aren't 100% protection from anything but its a real good thing you used one, its better to be as safe as possible than not bother trying.
I think your boyfriend is behaving like a jerk to put the blame on you like that (sorry)!!

No condom is 100% guaranteed against either pregnancy or STD. You should get tested, just in case.
My brother in law worked for the FDA and occasionally was asked to check condoms for holes. Out of a gross there were a few condoms that always had holes in them...they actually allow a few holes...so any condom you may use is not for sure hole free.

Condoms DO NOT 100% protect you from contracting an STD.
No condom manufacturer claims 100% protection against STD's or pregnancy.
They provide protection, sort of like a seat-belt in a car. The seat-belt protects you if there's an accident, but people wearing seat-belts still die in automobile accidents.

NO! A condom does not guarantee STD's won;t get transmitted. The best they offer is to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infection transferring from one person to another. The only true form of safe sex is self-masturbation; anything else poses risks even with protection. Wha tone needs to do is determine the level of risk they are prepared to take in order to have sex.

Condoms are the best protection, besides abstinence, against STDs, however nothing else is 100%. You should go get checked just to be sure.

Did you have gono? Of course, if you did not, then there is no way he got it from you. Did the condom stay intact? Then the odds are, it is not from you.

Condoms are not 100% sure protection, they can leak and they can break. Please go to the doctor to make sure you dont have anything and next time dont sleep with someone who has had multiple partners because when you sleep with that guy you sleep with everyone he has been with..
