Go on the New Year cruise from Southampton to Bilbao.
It is a good laugh and gets you away from this country.

Get some cherry tomatoes cut a small hole in the top use a doesing syringe 50p tescos pharmacy suck out the inside replace with vodka and you have cherry toato bloody marys great fun tast fab you coukld always as salt and tobasco sauce and blsck pepper tio the vodka for a real bloody ary kick (just keep away fro the kids) also vodka jelly is nice replace cold water once jelly is melted with vodka keep to same amount of pint of water / liquid to jelly and it will set nice and place in small mouls or ice cube trays superb fun and also melt chocolate and bailys for a rich creamy treat serve with brandy cream

Have a day in one of the theme parks

take a large group of dogs for a walk be a dog walker for a day

My wife and I normally go to London and stay in a hotel, have a lovely meal, go on the London Eye, and then go near to Big Ben for the count down for the New Year. The next day we go to Ludgate Hill to watch the New Years day parade and then go to The Mall for all the fair ground rides. A brilliant two days. FAB!

Since New Years in the U.S. is usually cold and seasonal, a great twist would be to have a New Year's Bar-B-Cue- How about a Pig Roast! with all the trimmings!

it all depends on what you do.. i get drunk and hang out wit friends and we have a good time no matter what event hough almost evey year someone starts runnin their mouth then bef ore you know it everyone is fightin that is the best part
or rlast year i went down town wit soem of my frinds to cosi and we had fun
