The protein contents in the food you eat are broken down as amino acids so you eat or drink protein rich foods, that is the best way to take amino acids. If you are a vegan then the best source protein would be from beans, nuts, legumes, and other seeds and their products - soya milk, tofu, kidney beans, etc. Cabbages also offer some protein.

There are also amino acids which are given intravenously however it is not for ordinary use.♥
